Statistics and Homosexuality…

Ever hear that “10% of people are gay?”

I know I have.  It’s all over the popular media and it’s the number that is trumpetted by most people who talk about homosexuality.  In reality, the “10%” number is from a study published by Alfred Kinsey in 1948 that was (anti)-religiously motivated, highly flawed and arguably purposed to intiate a shift in mentality in the psychiatric and psychological fields that led to the removal of homosexuality from the DSM in 1973.

It turns out that recent studies may indicate the numbers are more around 1%, if that.

Something to think about and mention next time you’re asked to swallow 70+ year old junk science.

Until Next Time,
