Here’s the news from the headlines today:
1. In the USA, when Muslims want to build a mosque on the location of a place they destroyed, they get angry when Westerners protest and cry foul. In Egypt, when Christians want to build a church at all, Christians get killed by the police. How’s that for unequal rights?
2. In Pakistan when a woman touches a bucket of water, her co-workers refuse to touch it (because it’s now unclear), an argument breaks out and then someone accuses her falsely of blaspheming Mohammad, she spends 15 months in prison before “being pardoned” of the crime she did not commit, barely escaping the death sentence after an appeal. How’s that for being a model of fair and impartial judicial system?
Yup. That’s the kind of example that Islamic law follows and brings to our fair country. We’ll save a lot of money not having to put those expensive “to serve and protect” stickers on our police cruisers, and we’ll get the death penalty for slander. Doesn’t that sound great? Death sentences all around! Hooray for Sharia law!
